Advantages over other agents

1. Less agent needed
   Only 50 - 100 grams of agent are required to protect a space of one cubic meter. This is very low compared to other agents.
   A space protected by 25 pounds of dry chemical needs only about 2.5 pounds of solid aerosol material.
2. No storage pressure and piping
   Aerosol is created when needed. Only the solid agent is stored in a generator. Therefor, unlike other agents, no pressure vessel or distribution piping is needed. It is easily introduced as a modular retrofit system in operational facilities
3. Simple and dependable activation
   Actuation can be mechanical or electrical, manual or automatic. It is easy to combine the activation and various detection and activation controls
4. Low temperature
   The agent can be actuated at low temperature as long as a spark can be generated. Therefor the solid aerosol can be used a very low temperatures
5. Long shelf life: +15 years
6. No ozone depletion potential, no global warning potential
7. No toxic decomposition products
