AMERICAN TECH. AEROSOL GENERATORS

NEW MILLENNIUM FIRE SUPPRESSION

REPLACEMENT FOR: Halons, ΗFC, CO², inert gas systems
The most powerful, safe and efficient fire suppression system.

WITH AUTOMATIC ACTIVATION OR BY MEANS OF FIRE DETECTION PANEL

MICRO-K aerosol fire extinguishing systems

Tested & Listed to:
UL 2127 Standard, MCA - Maritime and Coast Guard Agency- UK, Ministry of Defence-Royal British Navy, Defence Procurement Agency-UK, Fire Protection Association-UK, N.F.P.A. - National Fire Protection Association LLOYD'S Register Quality Assurance

SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS

1. Simple Installation inside the fire-protected space. No piping, no cartridges etc.
2. Less agent needed. Only 50 - 100 grams of agent are required to protect a space of one cubic meter.
3. No pressurized- having no danger of casual desperation.
4. Easily applicable to any existing fire protection systems, in case of extension.
5. With +10 years of service life, requiring a minimum of maintenance and no refilling.
6. Autonomous Installation with no need of electric current. Activation by means of a breakable thermo-detection   sensor, in preset temperature.
7. Non corrosive, non toxic, non oxidizing.
8. People and environment friendly. Non oxygen consuming.

OPERATION

  • Installation in the machine compartment of the vessel
  • Connection with the thermo-sensor and the actuation button / signal, in the captain's cabinet
  • In case of fire, automatic activation via the thermo-sensor / or manually, via the button
  • Aerosol formation in the machine compartment of the vessel (non toxic, non corrosive), produced by potassium salts
  • Immediate cut of the chain reaction of the flame and rapid, total extinguishment
